reKáva

reKáva is a Prague-based company that specializes in repurposing used coffee grounds. Their goal is to minimise waste and greenhouse gas emissions by reintroducing spent coffee grounds into the soil, giving them a second life. They offer a collection service for cafes and organisations, linking them with community gardens where the grounds can be put to good use. Furthermore, the grounds remain in the area where they were produced, supporting local products and people. reKáva also aims to educate individuals and households on how to reuse their own coffee grounds at home, promoting waste-free cities and sustainable living – “Coffee is not the end, coffee is the beginning”.
