Kick Start

KickStart International is a non-profit social enterprise that aims to lift millions out rapidly, affordably, and sustainably of poverty. They achieve this by designing and promoting climate-smart irrigation technologies for subsistence farmers in sub-Saharan Africa, allowing them to “make their own rain” and significantly increase yields and incomes. Over 1.3 million people have been empowered to lift themselves out of poverty through the use of KickStart’s tools. They see the untapped entrepreneurial drive in the world’s poorest people and harness this potential for massive change.
